We are seeking a skilled and experienced Server Administrator to join our team. As a Server Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the stability, security, and performance of our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in a wide range of server administration tasks, including domain mapping, DNS management, AWS cloud services, WordPress hosting, and security.
- Domain Mapping: Configure and manage domain mapping for websites, ensuring seamless access to web applications through custom domain names.
- DNS Management: Oversee DNS configuration and troubleshooting, ensuring efficient resolution and proper record management.
- AWS Load Balancer: Demonstrate hands-on experience in configuring and managing AWS Load Balancers for high availability and scalability, with a proven track record of successfully implementing load balancing solutions.
- MX Records: Manage MX records for email delivery, optimizing email routing and ensuring timely and secure delivery.
- AWS Services (ECS, RDS, Route53, and S3): Administer AWS services such as ECS, RDS, Route53, and S3, with a focus on designing scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- WP Hosting: Host and manage WordPress websites, including optimizing performance, handling updates, and resolving any issues related to WordPress hosting.
- Hosting Server Administration: Perform general server administration tasks, including server setup, configuration, and maintenance, ensuring server performance and reliability.
- Staging Website Creation: Create and manage staging environments for testing and development purposes, ensuring a seamless transition to production.
- Security: Implement robust security measures to protect both servers and websites, including malware detection and cleaning, firewall configuration, and security updates.
- Remote Backup: Set up and manage remote backup solutions to ensure data redundancy and disaster recovery readiness.
- AWS Auto Scaling: Implement AWS Auto Scaling to dynamically adjust server resources based on traffic patterns and application performance.
- Firewall: Configuration (e.g., FortiGate), malware detection and cleaning, and security updates.
- Experience must be 3+ years as a server admin
- Bachelor's in related field
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of server monitoring and performance tuning to optimize resource utilization.
- Experience in setting up and maintaining virtual private networks (VPNs) and firewalls for enhanced security.
- Strong understanding of SSL/TLS certificate management and implementation.
- Ability to collaborate with developers and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues.
